You know---the one that's always on Wednesdays? It features education related posts from all over the edusphere? Yep, it's time to head over and check out this week's Carnival of Education.
Here are my picks 'o the week:
- Brett's query as to whether the NBPTS system should be fixed or scrapped. After all, there isn't much evidence that those teachers who are certified are making a significant difference in the classroom compared to their peers.
- Assistive Principles has a fabulous ROTFLMAO post about the trials and tribulations of AP testing. This post is a must for anyone who has proctored an exam or been an AP Reader.
- Reminiscent of my musings concerning Death-by-Powerpoint, Dy/Dan is out to save the day with some great tips for using your first ppt slide to make an impression.
